What is hydro dipping?

Hydro dipping (also known as immersion printing, water transfer printing and hydro imaging ) is a unique process that allows you to apply graphics to almost any three-dimensional object. This process has been used for years in the auto industry along with many other fields. Other items like firearms, helmets, gaming controllers & ATV’s are widely decorated with hydro films these days. There are many different materials (substrates) the film can be applied on such as plastic, metal, wood, glass, and more.

About The Owner

I have worked most of my adult life as a Heavy Industrial Maintenance technician. My 20’s consisted of 60-80hr weeks providing for my wife and two young children. Now into my 30’s and having moved on to only my second employer in 16 years, I have been able to cut my hours back to a “normal schedule” (40hrs a week). With all of this extra time in the last 3.5 years I discovered Hydrographics. I’ve never had a hobby before and I wasn’t really looking for one at the time. I was so intrigued watching someone Hydro-dip I could not get enough.

I became obsessed with the process and everything involved with creating something so custom and how the options were virtually endless. Any pattern you could just about imagine, on just about any product. I became so involved with this process that I went as far as building a shop that I can practice this craft in.

In March of 2020 I filed for an official LLC license with the state of MN. In the last six months I have worked very hard to get my name out there, meet new contacts and build my craft. I am still working 40 hrs a week at my current Maintenance technician job.

I look forward to the day I am able to transition over to hydrographics full time. I hope you enjoy the services I offer and the projects I have done in the past.
